The new device is the brainchild of the sportswear company Puma and collaboration with the French manufacturer Sagem. Puma Phone is already available in some European countries and will be available in other markets in the near future.
This phone packs a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, GPS and compass, HSPA connectivity, 3.2-megapixel camera with a front-facing VGA camera (for video calls), microSD memory card slot, and a solar panel on the back of the device that’s used for battery charging. More importantly, there are quite a few apps pre-installed for media playback, web browsing, email and IM, and for keeping up with your workouts. The Puma Phone is priced at 399 EUR.
