Aishwarya Rai Bachchan os not the most beautiful woman in the world…

Hugh Jackman, who shared the dais with the world’s most beautiful woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in FICCI Frames 2011, doesn’t find the beauty the most beautiful woman on earth.

Here’s what he had to say – “When someone told me that world’s most beautiful lady will welcome me, I was too excited. I thought it will be my wife Deborra. But later I came to know that it was Aishwarya”.

“I consider Ash as a very beautiful lady, but certainly not the most beautiful on the planet. Because according to me, my wife Deborra is the most beautiful lady,” says Jackman, talking about his wife Deborra-Lee Furness.

Ash, though at first stunned, got the superstar’s humour and then played along. Aishwarya gifted Hugh with a small Lord Ganesha’s statue. “I welcome Hugh Jackman to India. He is one of the most handsome and diligent artistes in the field of acting. On behalf of all the Indians, I welcome him in our country with a beautiful Lord Ganesha,” said Aishwarya.

Aishwarya Rai is no longer Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s muse?

Bollywood is an incredible world indeed! Foes turn friends and vice versa overnight. Buzz has it that Aishwarya Rai has not been in good terms with her mentor and ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, post ‘Guzaarish’.

If rumours are to be believed, the blue eyed girl of Bhansali is mighty peeved with him for not taking her into consideration while sharing the profit.

Despite ‘Guzaarish’ proving to be a Box Office dud, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been basking with all the appreciation and the applause and more so with the finances. But the former Miss World’s contribution to the film was paid least attention.

The film which was produced by UTV Motion Pictures paid Bhansali a whopping Rs 27 crores. Even Duggu got a fair share but Ash was left empty handed.

Well oh well! Will the pretty muse of Bhansali make amends?

    Any guesses people?

Aishwarya's Rai...ght Health Alarm: Cancer Awareness For Women

She's back after rocking the red carpet at the Academy Awards in Los Angeles and the first public appearance that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made was not for a B'Town event, but for an initiative to support women suffering from cancer.

The 'Guzaarish' actress was a special guest at the Lavasa Women's Drive 2011 Award Night held recently at a suburban Mumbai hotel. She not just honoured a young cancer fighter, but also urged women to go for regular check ups and requested journalists present to spread the awareness.

The ever modest Mrs. Bachchan swatted aside comments about her being an inspirational figure for the women and said, "On the contrary, they have been very inspiring to all of us. Because of the sheer strength and courage that some of the women have portrayed in their ability to wake up everyday and be strong enough to conquer the challenges they face after being diagnosed with cancer."

Looking elegant in an off white ensemble, Aishwarya expressed her joy on being a part of the event and said, "It's wonderful to see women celebrating an evening of empowerment. It's great to see so many success stories and such strong women around you."

B'Town was also represented at the function by Arjan Bajwa, Jackky Bhagnani and Puja Gupta who handed out prizes and singer Shweta Pandit who enthralled the crowd with the latest chart busting numbers.
